He had not experienced the outside world, so he had little experience with people his age making him come across as slightly strange. Once Benjamin left the elderly home, and experienced a variety of different people and places he developed into a caring man who always put other before himself. This text deals with the idea that “time is inevitable”, What do you think this means? What key messages so you think the director wants us to take away from the film. Time being inevitable means that no matter what tine will always catch up, and theres no avoiding it. The director wants us to take away that no matter what stage we are at in our lives we have the power to keep our lives the same or change them for the better.

What similarities did you notice between this film and The Great Gatsby: In both The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and The Great Gatsby a major theme of time is displayed, this theme is dealt with differently though. In the film time is accepted and Benjamin makes the most of the time has because he thinks any day could be his last; in The Great Gatsby however Gatsby does not accept time and devotes him self to getting back the 5 years he lost with Daisy, which he never does because time is inevitable. In both the book and the film the main female characters are also named Daisy.
